1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Roomies mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Roomies. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the App to:
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
- Use the App for any commercial purpose not authorized by us
- Transmit spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited communications
5. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit through the App. By posting content, you grant Roomies a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating and providing the App. You are solely responsible for the content you post and represent that you have the right to share it.
6. Roommate Matching
Roomies provides tools to help users find compatible roommates. We do not guarantee the accuracy of user profiles, the suitability of any match, or the outcome of any living arrangement. You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before entering into any roommate agreement.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user, whether online or offline.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Roomies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms in the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
