Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Roomies account (developer: Roomies Co LLC) and the data associated with it. You can do this yourself inside the app, or request it from us directly using the form below, no login required.

1. Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way, if you can still sign in:

• Open the Roomies app and go to your Profile tab
• Tap Settings, then Account
• Tap Delete Account and confirm

Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery or grace period, and you are signed out as soon as it completes.

2. Request deletion without signing in

If you can't access the app (lost your phone number, removed the app, or can't log in), email us from any address and we'll delete the account on your behalf:

• Email tuan@roomiez.org with the subject “Delete my Roomies account”
• Include the phone number on the account so we can locate it (we use it only to find and verify the account, then delete it)

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days, and typically much sooner.

3. What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your profile, photos, and personality results
• All matches and conversations
• Any place listings you've created
• Likes, swipes, and interaction history
• Your phone number, name, and location preferences
• Device push-notification tokens registered to your account

4. What we may retain

After deletion we do not keep your profile or personal data. We may retain a minimal, limited record only where the law requires it (for example, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud and abuse), and only for as long as that purpose requires. Crash and diagnostic logs are not linked to your identity and age out on their own retention schedule. Messages you sent may remain visible to the other person in that conversation as part of their own history.
